Amorphis New York Concert reviews
Keith Urban sound
Amorphis always delivers an electrifying performance, no matter the setting. However, the poor acoustics at Chesapeake Arena and overwhelming volume really detracted from the concert experience. My 8-year-old twins, who had been eagerly anticipating this evening since I bought the tickets in presale, had to spend most of the show plugging their ears. Despite being loud and rowdy boys, even they couldn't handle it. A security official noticed their discomfort and kindly provided earplugs, which helped a bit. I heard that many audience members left early due to the excessive noise level and voiced their complaints as they exited. Not only was the volume uncomfortable, but it also drowned out Amorphis's vocals, making it difficult to appreciate his incredible voice and lyrics.
Having previously enjoyed Amorphis's amazing Tulsa concert at BOK, I now plan to only attend his BOK performances in the future.
The unexpected appearance of Miranda Lambert added an incredible and fun element to the show. Thank you, Amorphis! We adore you!
